Gemstone, LLC owns Hydra Platform and bridge snooper access units that are available to be rented by inspection and bridge repair firms.
We currently have Hydra Platform trailer-mounted HP 35' units, truck-mounted HPT 66' units, DFM Bridgemaster 50’ bridge inspection units, and Aspen Aerials UB60 60' bridge inspection units available. These machines can be rented bare or with a Gemstone operator. We currently have bases of operations in Virginia and Florida.
We have performed bridge inspection services with firms such as Volkert, AI Engineers, HDR, Baker International, WSP USA, and Collins Engineers.

The Anderson Hydra Platforms trailer-mounted HP35 is a comprehensively equipped under-bridge access and
work platform that features 180 degree platform rotation covering more than 1000 square feet of under-bridge area from a fixed point on the bridge deck. Versatility is increased by the hydra static drive, which allows bridge deck propulsion during platform use.
The HP 20/66 Truck-Mounted Under-bridge Access Platform is a fully equipped under-bridge access and work platform mounted on a diesel-powered truck. This state-of-the-art access platform is a versatile device for inspections and under-bridge operations. This machine is capable of reaching 66 feet underneath a bridge.
The Bridgemaster UB50 is an operator-friendly, heavy-duty underbridge work platform that provides safe and easy access for bridge inspection and major maintenance work, affording crews high capability for below-deck access.
The Aspen Aerials UB60 offers a 60’ 6” maximum horizontal reach and enables engineers and inspectors to work above, below, or alongside a bridge span. This unit will fit inside one lane width for narrow setups and features a fourth, “bucket” boom, which extends the working range by allowing access between bridge girders. Two rotating turrets – one at the pedestal and one at the end of the first boom provide enhanced agility.
